The Pilgrims have contested only three league fixtures in the last six weeks, having also played three Emirates FA Cup ties in the same period.
The Spennymoor fixture will afford Ian Culverhouse's side the opportunity to add more league points to their tally following their 3-1 defeat at Curzon Ashton last time out.
The likes of Zak Mills, Tom Leak and Tom Edge are all nearing a return to fitness – but it remains to be seen whether they will be involved at the Brewery Field on Saturday.
Spennymoor, featuring the likes of Ben Pollock, Keenan Ferguson, Lebrun Mbeka and Connor Shanks, are currently second in the table, having won seven of their opening 12 fixtures.
Last season's corresponding fixture ended 3-2 to the Moors, who subsequently won 2-1 at the Jakemans Community Stadium later in the season.
