Preview - Solihull Moors

Craig Singleton25 Dec - 15:42

Boston United will aim to spread some festive cheer when they play host to Solihull Moors at the Jakemans Community Stadium on Boxing Day.

Graham Coughlan's Pilgrims entertain Andy Whing's play-off chasing Moors (kick-off 3.00pm) as United face fresh opposition for the penultimate time this season.

It will be the first meeting between the sides since 2015, when Solihull earned promotion to the top flight of non-league football as National League North champions.

The last meetings unfolded over successive weekends at Damson Park, with Solihull prevailing 1-0 in the FA Trophy, before United won the league fixture by the same scoreline one week later.

Coughlan's selection options are unlikely to be vastly different to those on offer ahead of Saturday's postponed trip to Rochdale.

Cameron Gregory, Zak Mills, Mitch Roberts and Michael Bostwick remain sidelined for the Pilgrims – but no new injury concerns have been reported.
