Boston United head to Scunthorpe United on Saturday afternoon in their first away fixture of 2024.

The Pilgrims make the journey to Glanford Park for the first time since January 2005 when they face Jimmy Dean's title favourites (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Iron have won their last eight home encounters in National League North – while the Pilgrims are unbeaten in four matches overall, including three successive wins over the festive period.

At the same time United were completing a quickfire league double over King's Lynn Town, Scunthorpe were replicating the feat against Farsley Celtic.

With leading goalscorer Danny Whitehall suspended on Saturday, former United favourite Danny Elliott is poised to lead the line for the hosts.

United, who saw Jacob Hazel and Deji Sotona goals sink King's Lynn on New Year's Day, have reported no new availability concerns, with former Scunthorpe duo Aaron Chapman and Jai Rowe both in contention to face their old club.
