The Tigers, now managed by Mike Cook following Tim Flowers' departure earlier in the season, are in the bottom four but did record an eye-catching 3-0 home win over Alfreton Town last weekend.
The Pilgrims, meanwhile, have suffered three consecutive defeats in all competitions, including back-to-back league defeats to Curzon Ashton and Banbury United.
United boss Ian Culverhouse will check on the fitness of key midfielder Martin Woods, who was substituted during the first half of Tuesday's defeat to Banbury.
The likes of Tom Leak and Tom Edge could be in contention after returning to full training.
Last season's corresponding fixture ended 2-2, with Billy Chadwick and Scott Pollock on target for the Pilgrims.
