Preview - FC Halifax Town

Craig Singleton13 Feb - 14:55

Boston United are back on the road in the National League this weekend with a trip to face FC Halifax Town (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Pilgrims head to The Shay for the first time in competitive action since March 2017 when both clubs were in National League North.

The Shaymen earned promotion at the end of that season and have maintained their position in the National League ever since.

Chris Millington's side, who were 1-0 victors over the Pilgrims at the Jakemans Community Stadium in October, are currently inside the play-off places, but have won only five times at home to date, compared to eight on the road.

United could include newest recruits Brad Nicholson and Olly Green – following their respective arrivals from Scunthorpe United and Livingston.

The Pilgrims will be without midfield duo Oisin Gallagher (ankle) and Frankie Maguire (concussion).
