Boston United return to National League action at the Jakemans Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Pilgrims play host to FC Halifax Town (kick-off 3.00pm) - with on-loan Norwich City midfielder Finley Welch in contention to make his debut.

United will be without the services of on-loan Derby County attacker Tony Weston who broke a metatarsal in Tuesday’s Emirates FA Cup encounter against Gainsborough Trinity.

The likes of Cameron Gregory (jaw), Jake Lovelace (groin), Mitch Roberts (ankle) and Martin Woods (quad) remain sidelined.

It will be Halifax’s first visit to Pilgrim Way - having won 4-1 on their last visit to York Street in the autumn of 2016.

The Shaymen, under the guidance of Chris Millington, are in play-off contention once again and could include ex-Pilgrims Jo Cummings and Max Wright.
