Boston United will renew rivalries with Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3.00pm).

The two sides have not met since March 2002 when both were jostling for the Nationwide Conference title.

Both clubs have since enjoyed spells in the Football League – but are now back in the National League with differing immediate aims.

While the Pilgrims are fighting for crucial points to climb away from danger, the Daggers are within touching distance of the play-off positions following a mixed start to the campaign.

Managed by Ben Strevens, the Daggers have won once in eight away league matches so far – but did win 1-0 at Crewe Alexandra in the Emirates FA Cup last weekend.

United interim boss Martin Woods will hope to have midfielder Sam Osborne back in contention following illness, although Cameron Gregory, Mitch Roberts, Finley Welch and Tony Weston remain sidelined.
