Preview - Chester FC

Boston United make a return to National League North action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to in-form Chester FC (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Pilgrims, who were 1-0 victors over the Seals on home soil earlier in the season, will be chasing a first point on away turf against the current Chester club. They last tasted victory in Chester, against City, in January 2006 thanks to a Simon Rusk goal.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 1-0 to the Cestrians, with Declan Weeks netting in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

This time around, United will be without the services of the suspended Jai Rowe and injured duo Martin Woods and Kelsey Mooney.

Woods' penalty separated the sides earlier in the campaign, with Liam Edwards sent off for Chester.

United's latest signing Sam Smart could make his first start for the Pilgrims, having emerged as a substitute at Brackley Town last time out.
