Boston United will attempt to build on their positive midweek home form this season when they entertain Brackley Town on Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Pilgrims have won three of their four floodlit fixtures at the Jakemans Community Stadium, with victories over Buxton, Alfreton Town and Kidderminster Harriers preceding a slender defeat to Banbury United.

Boston are also unbeaten in three home fixtures so far in 2023, with two draws and one win to their name, but their challenge on Tuesday will be a tough one against a Brackley side still in title contention.

Roger Johnson's side have the division's best defence and have lost only once to date in league action under his stewardship (at Peterborough Sports on February 4).

United boss Ian Culverhouse is likely to be without the services of Keenan Ferguson and Scott Pollock (both knee).

Brackley were 1-0 victors over the Pilgrims earlier in the campaign. Last season's corresponding fixture ended 3-1 to the Saints.
