Boston United are back on the road in the National League on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Altrincham (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Pilgrims have not met the Robins since the National League North promotion final of 2020, which Altrincham won 1-0 in the last-ever match played at York Street.

The goalscorer on the day – Dan Mooney – is in contention to feature for the Pilgrims against his former club, having spent part of last season at Moss Lane.

United will welcome midfielder Jordan Richards back from suspension, but they will be without the services of defender Mitch Roberts, who sustained ankle ligament damage against Aldershot Town last time out.

The away fixture did not take place in 2019-2020 – due to the Covid pandemic – with Adam Marriott on target in United's 2-0 win on their last visit in August 2018.

Phil Parkinson's Altrincham side have opened the season with 11 points from their first nine fixtures.
