Barring the Lincolnshire Senior Cup semi-final against Grantham Town, the Pilgrims have played their last seven on the road and will now head to Farsley Celtic (kick-off 3.00pm) in pursuit of valuable league points.
In addition to three FA Cup wins away from home during that sequence, the Pilgrims have collected only three points from their four league matches, courtesy of a 3-1 win at AFC Telford United on November 2.
They have suffered narrow 2-1 defeats to Darlington, York City and Spennymoor Town and manager Craig Elliott will be keen to see his side come out on the right side of the scoreline when they head to The Citadel.
Elliott will be boosted by the return of midfielder Tom Platt following a one-match suspension, but defender Simon Ainge (hamstring) is likely to miss out once more.
Opponents Farsley, who enjoyed a strong start to the season, are currently five places and four points ahead of the Pilgrims, albeit having played a game more.
United have not visited Farsley since February 1997 when 81 fans watched a 2-1 UniBond League President's Cup defeat.
Saturday's match referee is Nathanael Cox, who was in charge when the Pilgrims lost 1-0 at Telford in November 2018.
