Kindly sponsored by Drayton Motors and held at Boston Golf Club, the 27-team field comprised a whole host of United supporters, sponsors and former players and staff.

Beeson and Vince were joined by Luis Mundt and Ben Cuthbert in the winning Quattro Banditos four-ball – ahead of Three Men and a Banker in second and Boston Reds in third.

Other former United players on show included Paul Bastock, Simon Grayson, Dave Adamson, Jim Kabia, Ben Milnes, Paul Watts, Paul Ellender and Peter Costello.
