Daffern makes Leighton loan move

Boston United attacker Ed Daffern has joined Southern League Division One Central side Leighton Town on an initial month-long youth loan deal.
The 18-year-old, who joined the Pilgrims' U23s from Milton Keynes Dons in the summer, has linked up with the Reds until mid-October.
Daffern featured in pre-season for the Pilgrims' first team and heads south in search of regular game time.
