United lose veteran defender White

The veteran centre-half has opted to join Blue Square Bet North rivals Harrogate Town after the Yorkshire club submitted a written seven-day notice of approach for the non-contract player.

White, who has been making the long commute to Lincolnshire from his home in Darlington, was left out of the Pilgrims’ squad at Guiseley on Saturday having stated his intention to join Harrogate ahead of the Christmas and New Year period.
