Pilgrims’ chairman David Newton confirmed that prices would remain unchanged ahead of the new campaign in Blue Square Bet North and one season ticket buyer will be drawn at random to earn a full refund on their purchase.
The club will begin season ticket sales on Monday May 14 — and supporters purchasing before the end of May will go into a draw to win their money back.
Reflecting on the release of season ticket prices, United chairman David Newton told bufc.co.uk: “We always try to strike the balance between providing value-for-money and attempting to cover our costs.
“The prices of season tickets (and matchday admission prices) are frozen for 2012-2013 and purchasing a season ticket continues to represent excellent value throughout the stadium.
“The current season has not lived up to the hopes we all carried, but Jason Lee and the players will be committed to delivering a successful season — and we need as many supporters on side as possible.”
Purchasing a season ticket remains the most cost-effective way of watching the Pilgrims. Fans snapping up an adult earlybird season ticket on the Spayne Road Terrace, for example, will pay £185, which equates to less than £9 per match and represents a £67 saving on match-by-match purchases.
A host of family tickets are also available, making it more affordable for families to watch the Pilgrims in action throughout 2012-2013.
In the Fantasy Island Stand, the one adult and one child season ticket offers football at £250 on the earlybird tariff — saving a staggering £149 on match-by-match purchases if the adult and child purchased individual tickets.
Sales will begin at 10.00am on Monday May 14 and purchasers can visit The Jakemans Stadium in person — or call (01205) 364406.
