James Reed grabbed two goals as Boston United Reserves opened the new Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League campaign with three points.
The Pilgrims defeated Sleaford Town Reserves at Eslaforde Park on Wednesday evening, with Jordan Nuttell also on target.
Sleaford's Kris Jones cut the deficit four minutes from time.
