The 28-year-old, who arrived from Chester FC in the summer, has linked up with the Lambs following the submission of a seven-day approach from the Staffordshire club.

Gough made six appearances in amber and black and leaves with the Pilgrims' best wishes for the future.

He could make his Tamworth debut at Banbury United on Saturday.
