The Conference is well aware of the high standards Jako place on product quality and this was a huge factor in the deal, when it is anticipated some 4,000 balls will be used across all the competitions for the coming season.

Brian Lee, the chairman of the Football Conference said: “The matchball is the ‘tool of our trade’ so it was imperative that we found a ball supplier who matched our own high standards. Over the course of the deal, the balls will be used in over 5,000 matches so quality was of paramount importance.”

Paul Todd, Jako UK, said: “It is a pleasure for us to be able to work in partnership with the Football Conference over the next three years as an official partner. We see this as an important step and a big piece in the jigsaw for our development in the UK market. We feel the Conference is a perfect fit for our business and we are proud to be among the Football Conference family.”
