The Pilgrims, who are currently third with nine points to their credit, travel to an Altrincham side beaten for the first time in midweek (by FC United of Manchester).

Prior to Tuesday's setback, promoted Altrincham had drawn with Leamington and Spennymoor Town and won 3-1 at Southport.

United manager Craig Elliott is expected to select from a similar squad to the one on duty for Tuesday evening's victory over Nuneaton Borough.

Full-back Ashley Jackson is eligible to play as his three-match suspension will not kick in until August 25 against Spennymoor.

United's last visit to Moss Lane unfolded in September 2016 when a Liam Agnew strike secured a 1-0 victory for the Pilgrims.
